I’ve debated about starting a blog for awhile now. It’s the same battle in my mind that you hear from everyone else when they start writing. “Will people like this?”, “Will anyone care what I have to say?”, “I don’t have much to say that hasn’t been said before.”, etc. Anyway, I came across this video from Derek Sivers about what our ideas mean to us and what they mean to others, and it motivated me to just go for this thing, whatever it ends up being.
I encourage you to watch the video, but essentially the motivation is, while my thoughts might be obvious to me, the “I don’t have anything new to say” hesitancy, others might think my thoughts might be “amazing” to others. Or at least worth reading without feeling like you have wasted your time.
So yeah, we will see how this thing goes. Expect a lot of my thoughts/opinions to be spewed on this page. I won’t stay serious all the time, nobody wants that. In fact, this will probably be as serious as it gets. And I have an unhealthy obsession with internet memes, which is bound to leak onto these pages.
